A 44-year-old woman from Everton was arrested on suspicion of cocaine supply, theft of a motor vehicle, theft of a conveyance other than motor vehicle, and possession of criminal property.

All three remain in custody.

A 40-year-old man from Anfield and a 59-year-old man from Liverpool City Centre were also arrested on suspicion of possession of crack cocaine. The 40-year-old remains under investigation, while the 59-year-old was handed over to the community resolution team.

Detective inspector Katie Coote said: "As these arrests and seizures show, officers across Merseyside are proactive in dealing with the harm of drug supply and the possession of dangerous weapons, as well as the associated theft and other crime that such activity attracts.

“If you have any information about locations of suspected drug dealing or the storage of drugs and weapons, let us know and we will do all we can to remove such risk from the community."
