Work to replace five sports pavilions in Falkirk in a project costing £800,000 should be under way by summer and ready for handover by autumn, Falkirk Council has said.
Last year, the council announced it as part of £2 million of investment in new sports facilities across the district and said it hoped the new facilities would be in use by the end of 2022.
Recently, Councillor Billy Buchanan asked for clarification about when work was starting and said he was delighted to hear a timetable was in place, particularly for Anderson Park.
