It's apparently the perfect balance between sweet and salty - a milkshake whizzed up with three rashers of bacon. And while many may snort at the idea, Five Guys says don't knock it til you try it.
Launched today by the food chain, the Pigs in Blankets milkshake is the latest flavour spicing up Christmas for customers. Priced from £5.45 and available stores nationwide - they are on sale until Boxing Day.
A spokesperson said: "With over 40 million Pigs in Blankets packets sold every year, to say that the nation is obsessed with the festive treat would be a complete understatement. Which is why Five Guys have dedicated their brand new, limited edition Christmas Milkshake to the much-loved pork dish.
"Made up of three rashers of bacon, mixed into the signature Five Guys milkshake base, the ‘Pigs in Blankets’ shake is the perfect balance between sweet and salty. Not only that, but the additional blended bacon bits add a much-enjoyed crunchy texture to the dessert… something you might never have thought you needed before!"
The Pigs in Blankets milkshake joins favourites on the menu like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, which was added to the menu last spring.
