Five Glasgow neighbourhoods hit as police carry out £1million cannabis raid across Scotland

£1million worth of cannabis plants were seized by police during a massive raid.

Eleven men were also arrested as areas in Woodlands, Gorbals, Kinning Park, Maryhill and Whiteinch were targeted in an operation that spread as far afield as Dumfries and Kirkcaldy.

Industrial units and private homes were searched by more than 100 officers involved in the pre-planned crackdown on Friday, May 19.
