The Boston Celtics have added wing Lamar Stevens to their roster ahead of the looming 2023-24 season, according to reports by The Athletic’s Shams Charania. Stevens, who previously played for the Cleveland Cavaliers and was briefly part of the San Antonio Spurs organization, will compete for a spot on the Celtics’ roster for their campaign to come during training camp.
A 26-year-old native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Stevens will likely compete with the likes of Svi Mykhailiuk, Jordan Walsh, and Oshae Brissett for time if he makes the regular season roster. Fans of the Celtics may not know Stevens well, but Kaley Brown of Boston Dot Com put together a primer of five facts you can check out here for the full details — or keep scrolling for the abbreviated version.
