When Luke Patten saw his ex-girlfriend with a teenager he pummelled him. And now he's serving a jail term.
Courtney Lawnsdowne was giving a lift to Oli Pomo when Patten turned up at Yate Leisure Centre. Bristol Crown Court heard Patten pulled up in his car, attacked Mr Pomo, assaulted Miss Lansdowne and damaged her car.
Patten, 32, of Ettricke Drive, Fishponds, pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault and damaging property following the incident on January 1 last year. He appeared for sentence yesterday.

The recorder David Chidgey sent him to prison for 15 months. He told Patten: "It would have been frightening for anyone involved.
"Punches to Mr Pomo were forceful and to the face. There was some degree of planning."
Susan Cavender, prosecuting, said Patten had gone looking for Miss Lansdowne and blocked her car in at the car park. When he saw Mr Pomo in her car he mounted an unprovoked attack on him, the court was told.
When Miss Lansdowne tried to intervene she was pushed. Patten admitted denting her car and kicking off a wing mirror.
The court heard Mr Pomo, 18, suffered an injured jaw and bruised face. As a result of the assault his memory and confidence were affected and he had to postpone college exams.
Matthew Jackson, defending, said his client served as a carer for two youngsters. He said Patten had come to court prepared for prison, but urged for the sentence to be suspended.
Mr Jackson said: "Since the incident there is no indication he has been involved in any further offending. I say it (the sentence) can and I say it should be suspended."
