First victim named in Michigan church shooting was a devoted grandfather and Navy veteran

The first victim of a mass shooting at a Mormon church in Michigan this past weekend has been identified as a devoted grandfather and Navy veteran.

John Bond, 76, was one of four people killed Sunday when a gunman opened fire on congregants at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc Township, about 50 miles north of Detroit, his family told ABC News.
