First US refueling aircraft arrive at air base in Bulgaria to support Middle East operations

The first two U.S. military aircraft intended to provide support for operations in the Middle East arrived Friday at an air base in southeastern Bulgaria, drawing a complaint from Iran as Bulgarian residents have also been protesting the deployment.

The Trump administration has faced pushback from some European allies over the use of air bases in support of its war with Iran.
