First trailer drops for Bristol's epic new Netflix series The Last Bus

The first trailer for a madcap action-packed sci-fi adventure that was filmed in Bristol and the surrounding area has been released by Netflix. The Last Bus was produced by the Bristol-based Wildseed Studios and features some iconic West Country backdrops, from Cheddar Gorge and Brean Leisure Park to the Downs in Bristol and the Eden Project down in Cornwall.

The series took over city centre locations during 2021 including Redcliffe Caves, as well as the vast majority of indoor scenes being filmed at the Bottle Yard Studios in Hengrove.

And now, for the first time, the results of all that filming can be seen. Netflix have unveiled the series, which stars Robert Sheehan, After Life’s Tom Basden and an ensemble cast of young actors, which airs on the streaming service starting on April 1.
