First-time mum who blamed migraines and exhaustion on pregnancy given horror diagnosis

A first-time-mum who thought her exhaustion and migraines were 'pregnancy symptoms' discovered she had a grapefruit-sized cancerous tumour.

Kirsty Axworthy was around 12-weeks pregnant when she started experiencing an array of symptoms including high blood pressure and night sweats, but doctors just put this down to pre-eclampsia.

But seven weeks after she gave birth to her daughter Elle last May 'alarm bells' started to ring as her symptoms worsened rather than subsided, so she visited her GP.
