Ames, Iowa - As the Iowa caucus kicked off yesterday, two first-time caucus-goers expressed their motivation to make a difference in their community. April and Isabel, both Iowa State students and natives of Iowa, eagerly joined the political process to have a say in shaping their home state.
When asked about their decision to participate in the caucus, both April and Isabel emphasized their desire to make a positive impact on the world they live in. Having grown up in Ames and Des Moines, respectively, they felt a strong connection to their communities and wanted to contribute to their betterment.
