First stamps bearing silhouette of King Charles go on sale in UK

The first stamps featuring the silhouette of King Charles III went on sale on Tuesday - with the set a nod to the monarch’s love of gardening.

Charles’s uncrowned profile, in silver and facing to the right in the top left hand corner, appears on the collection of 10 special stamps celebrating some of the nation’s favourite flowers.
