First sign of tension in the jungle as I'm A Celeb's Boy George takes swipe at 'bossy' Charlene White

Monday night's second instalment of I'm A Celebrity gave viewers the first sign of tension in the camp as Boy Geroge took a swipe at Loose Women's Charlene White.

Karma Chameleon star George finally joined the main camp alongside Chris Moyles, Scarlette Douglas and the now-departed Olivia Attwood after winning eight out of ten stars for the evening's meal.

The stars bagged them a couple of portions of mud crabs which Charlene quickly volunteered to cook - much to singer George's dismay.

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph soon afterwards, he affirmed: "I'm a good cook."

He added: "When someone's already decided they're in charge of the kitchen, it's difficult to have your say."

Later in the evening, he brandished the meal as 'horrible' and claimed Charlene's mushrooms 'weren't cooked properly'.

Still annoyed, he then told Chris he nearly 'felt sick' before calling out a kitchen 'hierarchy'.

"I feel like there's a bit of hierarchy in the kitchen with Mike [Tindall] and Charlene, there's this patriarchy.

"I don't want to be told what to do by someone, quite a bossy boots."

Elsewhere on Monday, a statement released on behalf of Olivia via Instagram claimed the former Love Islander was forced to leave the jungle for reasons 'beyond her control'.

It added the truth behind her exit would be explained 'in due course'.

The statement read: "To say Olivia is heartbroken would be an understatement, she dreamed of doing IAC for years, and was absolutely loving every second of the show and throwing herself into jungle life feet first (just as we knew she would).

"However, for reasons beyond her control her journey has been cut short. Your support and kind words have meant the absolute world to her, now as much as it always has."

It continued: "You will hear the truth from Olivia in due course and she will be back on your screens in the New Year."
