Cardiff’s first LGBT+ Fringe Festival will launch throughout June to celebrate Pride Month.
Headed up by the team behind The Queer Emporium, the festival has ambitions to have events hosted at more than 40 venues across the city, and will include theatre, comedy, live music, film, drag, visual art exhibitions, dance and digital arts.
The Queer Emporium, which is located on St Mary Street in Cardiff, opened last year to huge success. The space has become a hub for young LGBT+ people and vendors to gather and feel safe. The space has also turned into a venue which boasts many different cabaret and drag events such as the Queer Gala which took place at the weekend.
