- The first images of Altai the tiger have emerged after Yorkshire Wildlife Park reopened on Friday morning following the death of a man who climbed into an enclosure.
- The attraction near Doncaster reopened to the public nearly a week after 24-year-old William Chapman was fatally mauled by a tiger.
- An inquest heard that Mr Chapman, who had schizophrenia, died from multiple traumatic injuries after scaling two fences to enter the tiger enclosure.
- The park confirmed that Altai, the five-year-old Siberian tiger involved in the incident, is safe and well and will not be euthanised.
- City of Doncaster Council and South Yorkshire Police are carrying out health, safety, and official enquiries into the tragedy.
