First picture of Renton man hailed as 'one in a million' after house fire murder

Charles Wilson Murder Renton Police

A man who died following a flat fire in Renton has been named as 40-year-old Charles Wilson.

Emergency services were called to a flat on Tontine Park around 7.25am on Saturday morning.

Fire crews attended the scene and the fire was put out before the body of a man who had been "fatally injured" was discovered in the bedroom and police were contacted. The man’s family has been informed.
