A woman found ‘murdered’ at her home in a tiny Scots village on Mother’s Day has been named locally as Catherine Pryde.
The 74-year-old was found fatally injured at the plush property in The Engine Green area of Fishcross, Clackmannanshire, at around 7.35am on Sunday, March 19.
It is understood that a neighbour, who is a nurse, ran to help the pensioner but she tragically passed away.
