Revealed: Lord Mandelson asked for £550,000 payout after sacking as UK ambassador to US over Epstein scandal

Sir Keir Starmer faced fresh criticism over the Lord Mandelson scandal as a dossier of documents relating to his appointment as British ambassador to the US was published which also revealed the peer asked for nearly £550,000 in severance pay after being sacked.

The Mandelson Files show that in the end he was awarded a £75,000 payout.
