The first of ten brand-new Elizabeth line trains has rolled onto the testing tracks in Derby, marking the start of their journey before they arrive in London later this year.
The new trains are being built to keep up with rising demand on the UK’s busiest rail service, which carries around 700,000 to 800,000 passengers a day.
