A world-famous retailer has opened its first-ever Scottish store in Glasgow. Chic Danish and Hygge homeware specialists, Søstrene Grene, have launched a brand new outlet in the St Enoch Centre.
Scottish radio presenter Katy Johnston officially opened the store on Friday (December 1), with eager shoppers queuing up to get a first look at the exciting new store.
The opening showcased Søstrene Grene’s new Christmas collection, ‘The Magic of Christmas’, as well as a huge selection of home interiors, hobby items, small furniture, and kitchen items.
The first Søstrene Grene in Scotland, the team behind the launch say the store encompasses ‘Retail for the Senses’ - a new concept complete with atmospheric lighting, classical music and beautiful scents, designed to appeal to all the senses and provide a unique shopping experience.

A family-owned retailer created by sisters Anna and Clare in 1973 with the aim of bringing ‘beauty to everyday life’. Sostrene Grene currently operates more than 260 stores in 15 countries worldwide.

Speaking about the new opening, operators Norma Jacob and Richard Power, said: “What a wonderful opening for Søstrene Grene’s first ever Scottish store!

The new store will open Monday to Friday 9AM to 7PM, Saturday 9AM to 6PM, and Sunday 10AM to 6PM
