Lidl shoppers have been left 'amazed' by American week at Lidl which launched on Thursday (June 30).
Branded as "flavour of the week" the popular store is praising all things American, including Smucker's peanut butter & jelly, Mcennedy hot dog sausages, Mcennedy American style snack boxes and Duff Radler Beer. American week started yesterday (June 30) and shoppers are already desperate to snap up some American treats.
Shared on the popular Newfoodsuk Facebook page and Instagram, Lidl fans were able to get a first look at what's in store. With over 260k followers, the Facebook page keeps fans up to date with exclusive food items all over the UK, as well as reviews on the products.

The first look at the range proved extremely popular, gathering over 1.1k likes and 1.8k comments from Lidl shoppers. It read: "American week at Lidl GB is here!! Look at all those products!" Newfoodsuk shared photos of the Mcennedy ice cream in flavours blueberry pie, apple cheesecake and marshmallow flavour, as well as Mcennedy pretzel dogs with sweet mustard dip and cookie dough flavoured milkshakes.
Also included in the post were images of the Mcennedy crinkle cut steakhouse fries in salt & pepper flavour, steakhouse fries in corn coating, corndogs and a salami style pizza. The Mcennedy 'American Style Snack Box' proved popular in a separate Facebook post from the group. The box features mozzarella sticks, onion rings, chilli cheese nuggets and a chilli dip.
