The new plans will encompass Richmond Row - the road that runs along the space. The plaza was popular with skaters before the buildings works started and it appears Dublin City Council will accommodate them in the new plans.

"Urban skate elements" are included in the plans which one councillor described as a "tiny skatepark for mice". The plan also includes a flexible community event lawn space, waterside decking, seating and tree planting.

The project is expected to be completed in 2024 after the Part 8 Planning Application is lodged in October this year. The hotel is sue to be completed from the end of this year to the beginning of next year.
