Take a first look at a young Cain Dingle with soap icon Jeff Hordley being replaced for a special episode of Emmerdale.

Jeff Hordley, 52, first started playing Cain Dingle in Emmerdale back in 2000. This Christmas, fans will see Cain, still behind bars accused of killing Al Chapman, reunited with estranged brother Caleb Milligan - played by Will Ash.

Emmerdale executive producer Jane Hudson gave fans a hint of what to expect over the festive period with yet more drama for the Dingle clan. Jane explained: “Poor Cain is still in prison. He will get a visit from his brother on Christmas Day called Caleb - played by Will Ash.
