A first look at the next series of Doctor Who has been released.

The new series is set to air in the autumn and will see David Tennant and Catherine Tate reprise their old roles.

A clip has been released teasing what fans can expect from the actor returning to his part as the Doctor.

The video, which was played on TV just before the Eurovision Song Contest, shows the Doctor and Donna Noble reunite and take on more aliens.

They have reprised their roles for a series of three specials to celebrate the show’s 60th anniversary.

The clip showed the two going on plenty more adventures together and come face to face with new aliens.
