A brand new brightly coloured and fun Indian eatery is opening its doors in Leeds soon.
Tamatanga will open in The Light, in The Headrow, during late spring, offering "real, fresh and homely" food and "a laid back atmosphere". The company was founded in Nottingham in 2008, and already has chains in Leicester, and Nottingham. Now, Leeds will be getting a taste of Tamatanga.
The restaurant is said to bring "good music, good feelings, and good food at any time". Customers can book or turn up and it will be child-friendly also. The menu will include lamp chops, salmon, tandoori chicken, salad bowls, wraps, biryani bowls, curry bowls, and small plates.

Announcing the news on social media, a spokesperson for Tamatanga said: "Leeds! Get ready to eat, drink, Indian. Oh boy, we are so excited to be brining tamatanga to the gorgeous city of Leeds.
"Work is underway and all things being well, we will be opening at The Light on The Headrow in the late spring. See you there." Sneak peak pictures have been shared of the spot which show brightly coloured furniture and a neon artic roof.
"What's more there is a neon bar, and brightly-coloured huts for groups. There is plenty of space for groups to both drink and dine.
Signs have been spotted outside The Headrow and people have been sharing their excitement. On Instagram, @georgiauv said: "Actually so excited."
@meganmachine added: "Can't wait for this. Had an amazing time at the Birmingham branch a few weeks ago, so can't wait to have one in our home town."
