First look at Aaron Dingle's Emmerdale return as fans all say same thing

Emmerdale's Danny Miller has delighted fans as he gives a first look at Aaron Dingle’s return in new clip posted to his social media.

It comes after Emmerdale producers confirmed that three much-loved former characters will head back to the village later this year as the Yorkshire based soap celebrates its 50th anniversary.

The ITV soap confirmed that Aaron Dingle, Diane Sugden and Tracy Metcalfe will all make a brief return for storylines later this year, teasing a "huge" story ahead for one of the three.

Danny Miller quit his role as Aaron Dingle last year, but bosses have confirmed he will make a return and could find himself embroiled in two key storylines.

Much to the delight of fans Danny took to Instagram yesterday to give a small glimpse of what's to come as he returned to his friendly local The Woolpack for a pint.

He captioned the clip: "Guess who’s back.. back AGAIN! News is out I’ve come back to celebrate the 50th year of @emmerdale Let the drama begin!"

The comments section was quickly flooded with excited fans, one follower responded: "Best news ever!!! Just need @adamthomas21 now" tagging Danny's former co-star and good friend Adam Thomas who played Adam Barton on the ITV soap.

Another of Danny's 714K followers penned: "yes cant wait", while a third added: "This makes me very happy", "might have to watch Emmerdale again in October" said another adoring fan, while another wrote: "Buzzing!!!!".

Speaking to Yorkshire Live and other press producers Jane Hudson and Kate Brooks spilled the beans on the returning characters as they discussed what the plans mean for the villagers.

Producer Kate Brooks said: “Diane, Aaron and Tracey will all be making a reappearance, all-be-it, on a temporary-basis. They will come back and be at the heart of some really big stories which will impact them and the lives of the characters they leave behind.”

Jane Hudson, Emmerdale's chief executive producer added: “We’ve got Dianne, Aaron and Tracey, who is coming back with a bit of news of her own, and how is Nate going to respond."

She continued: "Of course, Aaron is back and is he going to find out his mum is cheating on Paddy? A man he sees as a father. Is he going to discover that Sandra's not all about Liv? So there's a huge story happening over there."

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
