First Glasgow's night bus services have been suspended across the city for the time being.
The bus operator say the temporary suspension has been motivated by "ongoing driver shortages", but say they hope night services will return "in the near future".
It comes after First Glasgow restarted their weekend night bus service in the run up to the festive period - before the fresh wave of restriction came into force on December 27 amid concerns over the omicron covid variant.
They night bus service usually operates in the early hours of Saturday and Sunday mornings and covers a network of 11 routes from the city centre to areas across Glasgow and the surrounding areas - including Clydebank, Paisley, Newton Mearns, East Kilbride, Hamilton, Motherwell and Wishaw.

About the suspension of services, John Elliot, Network Manager for First Glasgow, told Glasgow Live: “We can confirm that night services are currently suspended across Glasgow.
“In December we were delighted to restart our weekend night bus network to support Glasgow’s night-time economy during the important festive period.
“However, we had to temporarily suspend these services following Christmas due to the ongoing driver shortages we are experiencing. We are hopeful our night services will return in the near future.”
