Early release tickets are on sale for Dublin Fringe Festival which will be taking over the city this autumn.
Artists and performers will be bringing the city to life for 16 days and nights from September 9 to 24. From theatre productions in unlikely venues, electric dance performances and immersive installations there is something for everyone to enjoy at this years festival. Artist Jony Easterby will be lighting up the National Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin with his installation The Garden of Shadows.
The Garden of Shadows is described as: "an immersive exploration of nature's nocturnal mysteries," and comes after his highly successful installation Remnant Ecologies last year. This year the public are invited to experience the Botanic Gardens after dark to appreciate the beauty and interconnectedness of the natural world.
That installation will run from September 14 to 24 and will be open from 8pm to 10:30pm. Tickets will start at €13 with the most expensive ticket costing €18.

Dan Daw Creative Projects is a disabled-led company that works with companies and artists to blur the divide between theatre and dance. The dance theatre performance The Dan Daw Show will be coming to the festival this year. The show is: "about care, intimacy, resilience and joy - about letting go and reclaiming yourself," and will be taking place on September 22 and 23 in the Projects Arts Centre.
Multi-disciplinary artist Rachel Ní Bhraonain presents the dance performance MOSH which is a visually exciting show of dance, live music and interviews all combined into one. It is: "about the thrill of fighting another human without the fear and has humour, heart and a whole lot of headbanging."
Two more festival sneak peaks which have been revealed to the public include Clash at The Quays and cabaret night EGG: The Proclamation of the Irish Republegg. Clash at The Quays will be held at The Complex for an exclusive battle of the bands where music meets wrestling.
EGG: The Proclamation of the Irish Republegg will be hosted by non-binary revolutionary Aoife O'Connor and the first transgender member of Cumann na mBan Pea Dinneen, along with Paul Piano Prior banging out anthems on the keys. Both events are on September 16 and tickets cost between €13 and €15.
Early release tickets for these shows can be bought on the Fringe Festival website. The full programme for the festival will be released on July 19.
