First Dates star Laura Tott has revealed she’s welcomed her first child, a son named Leo.
The waitress-turned-paramedic announced the happy news in a video, which was set to Eva Cassidy’s Songbird, shared to Instagram on Tuesday.
Alongside the clip of her baby boy in his cot, the 28-year-old wrote: “He’s here… Leo Clarke 28/08/23.”
The former Channel 4 star welcomed the little one with her husband of a year, whose identity she has kept secret.
In 2022, the pair wed in Devon and exchanged vows at sunset on a beach, a year after they got engaged in 2021.
Tott admitted that she has always kept her relationship and partner off social media but wanted to share her engagement news because she was “over the moon”.
Taking to Instagram at the time to show off her diamond ring, Tott penned: “Well I better get planning that hen do [ring emoji].
“Always keep my relationship off social media and I love that it’s just for me, but wanted to share this with you all cos I’m absolutely over the moon. Hope you’re all enjoying the sunshine.”
Tott shot to fame on Channel 4 dating show First Dates as one of the waiting staff, then in 2020 revealed she had become a fully registered paramedic.
Two years later, the reality TV star revealed that she had left the dating series after filming moved from its usual restaurant in London’s Paternoster Chop House to Manchester.
Explaining her absence from the show, Tott wrote on Instagram: “As you can see, I do not appear in this new series of First Dates.
“They have moved up north to a new restaurant and wanted to freshen up the team for this series with some new local faces among the old faces, so I will not be featuring in this new series of First Dates unfortunately.
“To be honest, I don’t actually know how I would have fit filming in this year with working during the pandemic,” she continued.
“I’ve needed every day off to chill out so it’s actually been a welcome break. I’ve missed the whole team though, that’s for sure. This doesn’t mean it’s over and I’m still very much part of the First Dates family and hopefully I’ll be back again real soon.
“Can’t wait to watch the new series and good luck to the new waiters/waitresses this series,” followed by a heart emoji.
