First Dates star Merlin Griffiths is back in hospital once again amid his ongoing cancer battle.
It has only been a week since he was rushed into hospital after suffering from complications of bowel cancer. The Channel 4 television personality announced last year that he had received the devastating diagnosis after doctors discovered he had a 4.5cm stage three tumour. In April, Merlin underwent surgery to remove the tumour but his health battle isn't over yet.
He is currently having further surgery to help with the complications he has endured. In an Instagram post today he described his cancer journey as "long, and often painful and ugly."
