First Dates barman Merlin Griffiths has shared the incredible news that he has been given the 'all clear for now' after receiving results of a CT scan one year after surgery for bowel cancer.
In September 2021, the 48-year-old was diagnosed with stage three bowel cancer and now, after two years of treatment, his results show no sign of the cancer reccurring.
Sharing the news on social media, the bartender who rose to fame on the Channel 4 dating show wrote alongside an image of the correspondence he'd received from the medical team: "Final Year 1 scan results are in, and it's ALL CLEAR for now. Nice. Thank you #NHS #bowelcancerawareness"
