A huge moorland blaze near Greater Manchester has now been put out by firefighters.
Fire crews were called to the wildfire in the Pule Hill area of Marsden Moor shortly after 4.25pm this afternoon (Thursday). Images from the scene showed huge plumes of smoke visible for miles around.
Ten fire engines from stations across West Yorkshire were sent to the scene, with initial reports suggesting strong winds were fanning the flames. The public was urged to stay away from the area.

Police were pictured at the scene, with a number of roads closed off, including the A62 Manchester Road, between Oldham and Marsden.
A patrol car was pictured on the road this evening. Mount Road was also shut to allow fire crews to access the scene.
In an update shortly after 6.20pm, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service tweeted that the wildfire was "now out", adding that crews remained at the scene to dampen down the area.
A spokesperson for the fire service added: "We are currently in attendance at a wildfire at Pule Hill, Marsden. Presently, 5 pumps (Fire Engines) are in attendance, alongside 2 wildfire officers, the drone team and Yorkshire Water."
It is the second fire to break out on Marsden Moor this month after firefighters were called to a blaze on April 9.
