Firefighters are battling a blaze at a hotel in west London.
Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters have been called to a fire at a hotel on Scarsdale Place in Kensington.
Part of a hotel room on the sixth floor of an 11-storey building is alight.
Around 500 people were evaucated from the hotel. There are no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 12.29pm and the fire was under control by 1.25pm. Fire crews from Kensington, Chelsea, Fulham, Battersea and Paddington fire stations are at the scene.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
