Dublin Fire Brigade sprung to action last weekend following a horror crash between a car and an e-scooter.
Emergency personnel used ‘soft protection’ plastic to cover the victim as they treated them at the scene of the incident.
The plastic sheeting is usually used to cover a person whilst they are being cut out of vehicles following a collision to protect them from glass.

Taking to Twitter to share images of the incident Dublin Fire Brigade said: “ Clever use of 'soft protection' last weekend at a collision between a car and e-scooter. It is normally used when cutting cars from people, to protect from glass.
“The plastic sheet provided some cover from the elements as Firefighter/Paramedics treated the patient on the ground.”
