Fire has taken told of a recycling centre on an industrial estate near Perth.
Emergency services were called to Shore Recycling at the Friarton Industrial Estate at 4:30am today.
Scottish Fire and Rescue service say they have deployed six trucks and two two height appliances as plumes of smoke could be seen rising across the city.
Crews remain at the scene and the blaze is ongoing.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “We were alerted to reports of a fire at 4.30am on Sunday 4 September at a recycling centre in Friarton Industrial Estate in Perth.
"Six fire appliances and two height appliances were mobilised to the location where crews remain at the scene dealing with the incident.”
