Firefighters battle blaze at Dublin apartment complex

Dublin Fire Brigade are currently fighting a blaze that broke out at a high rise building in Blanchardstown.

The fire broke out at the Falcon View apartment complex, off Blanchardstown Road South, before 4.30pm. Emergency services rushed to the scene of the ongoing incident.

No injuries have been reported in connection to the fire. Seven units are at the scene and two turntable ladders are being deployed.

Dublin Fire Brigade have since confirmed that the fire was brought under control at around 5:30pm. They said that multiple 999 calls had been in relation to the incident.

A spokesperson said: "Seven fire engines, a turntable ladder and senior officers attended the fire. As of 1830 hours the response has been scaled back and firefighters will remain on scene damping down hotspots."
