A large fire involving 30 acres of cut straw had an accidental cause, according to the fire service. Crews were called to a field near Chipping Sodbury in South Gloucestershire after a combine harvester caught fire.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service said that crews were called at 12.11pm to Hall Lane in Horton. The blaze had been put out by 5pm.
Fire crews from six stations - Bath, Yate, Thornbury, Temple, Kingswood and Gloucestershire - were at the scene at one point. No injuries were reported, Avon Fire and Rescue Service confirmed.
