Fire-fighting system at Mumbai railway Hospital

Mumbai Western Railway Sumit Thakur WR (Organization) Mumbai Central

MUMBAI: Western Railway has commissioned the fire protection system at Jagjivan Ram Hospital, Mumbai Central. This system was put in place under the initiative of Engineering Department of Western Railway's Mumbai Division, said WR chief spokesperson Sumit Thakur.

"The system consists of fire alarms, fire pumps, automatic sprinkler system, fire hydrants and hoses, extinguishers, buckets, aerosol system, fire doors, drencher line (water curtain), clean agent for OTs and other sensitive areas," he said .
