FIRE crews have rushed to reports of a blaze at a former Scottish nightclub for the second time in less than a week.
Emergency services are currently in attendance at the now-derelict Jumpin' Jaks building on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) was first alerted to reports of a possible fire at 11.30am on Sunday.
Three appliances were sent to the scene, where they remain at the time of writing.
Firefighters could be seen attempting to open the building door using a crowbar, while witnesses also reported smelling smoke.
The National understands that there is no sign of smoke or fire, with firefighters currently searching the building.
It comes after another incident at the same building earlier in the week, when fire crews tackled a blaze which broke out at around 2am on Tuesday.
The public were urged to avoid the area at the time, with a number of roads also closed.
Police have since launched an investigation into the fire, saying it is being treated as "wilful".
Before it was used as a nightclub, the building opened in 1967 as the ABC 2 cinema, believed to be the first post-war cinema to open in Glasgow.
