Fire crews have raced to a major blaze at a Scots garage this evening.
Around 25 firefighters from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service are currently tackling an inferno at a single-storey garage on West Bowling Green Street, near Leith, Edinburgh.
Several vehicles are stored within the property as dark clouds of smoke can be seen billowing into the air.
As reported in Edinburgh Live, emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 7pm on Tuesday, with four appliances and a height appliance currently in attendance to tackle the blaze.
The garages in question house several different companies and is located just off the Water of Leith.
An eye witness captured a video of the dramatic incident, which appears to show several fire engines present and large clouds filling the sky with smoke as darkness fell.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We are currently attending a fire on West Bowling Green Street, Edinburgh, which is in a single storey garage containing several vehicles.
"Crews received the call at 7:22pm and currently, four appliances and a height appliance have been called out to attend the blaze which is ongoing.
"Two lines of hose are being used and we suspect that asbestos is may be the cause, although that is yet to be confirmed. Crews attending equate to around 25 firefighters."
