Fire crews were battling a huge blaze on a hillside in Clackmannanshire last night.
Emergency services scrambled to Ochil Hills in Alva after the alarm was raised at around 8.45pm on Monday, March 28.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service quickly sent three appliances to the scene.
Dramatic pictures taken from the area showed huge flames on the hillside.
A clip posted on Twitter showed smoke billowing up into the sky.
Shocked locals watched on in horror as the fire continued to spread.
Firefighters battled the blaze for just under three hours before leaving the scene after the fire was extinguished.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were alerted to the fire at 20.43pm on Monday, March 28.
"The fire was affecting an open hillside which was well alight.
"Operations control despatched three appliances and we left the scene at 23.40pm."
