Firefighters tackled a blaze within a Falkirk school earlier.
Emergency services rushed to Graeme High School in the town after the alarm was raised shortly before 12.30pm today, Thursday January 27.
Two fire engines were sent to the scene, with hundreds of pupils and staff evacuated from the building.
It’s understood flames took hold within toilets on the ground floor.
Nobody was injured as a result of the incident.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 12.26pm on Thursday, January 27 by an automatic fire alarm system from a school at Callendar Road, Falkirk.
"Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances and firefighters extinguished a small fire within a toilet on the ground floor.
"There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe."
A Falkirk council spokesperson said: "The fire service attended Graeme High School this afternoon in response to a fire in a toilet.
"The school was evacuated but both staff and pupils are back in the building.
"No-one was injured and the school remains open.”
