Firefighters rushed to the scene of a car that had flipped onto its roof on the M50.
The incident required traffic restrictions around the Red Cow junction.
A social media post suggested that the accident was caused by the heavy rainfall this morning.
Dublin Fire Brigade tweeted: "During heavy rain this morning Firefighter/paramedics were called to a roll over road traffic collision on M50 Dublin. Restrictions were in place at J9 Red Cow Northbound as the incident was dealt with but traffic was able to pass."
