The second fire in just over two weeks has broken out in a building on a Fife high street.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were called to the blaze on Leven high street on Friday November 25.
Pictures from the scene show roads blocked off while SFRS attempted to get the fire under control.
A spokeswoman for SFRS said: "We are currently in attendance to a fire on Leven high street. We were called to the scene at 9.58pm, and have three appliances and a height appliance in operation."
It is currently not known how the fire was started.
As of 8.30am today (Saturday, November 25), fire crews remain on the scene with six appliances at the incident at the height of the blaze.
This incident comes just weeks after a major fire broke out at a Poundstretcher store on the same street.
The road surrounding the building was closed for several hours while emergency services dealt with the fire.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.15pm on Friday, 25 November, 2022, officers were called to a report of a fire at a derelict building on High Street, Leven.
“Emergency services attended and local road closures were put in place by the council.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of the fire.”
