A blaze which started at a home in Sunderland was started by an electrical fault.
The emergency service crews attended the scene at Hylton Road on Friday evening after the alarm was raised at about 5.15pm.
Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service and Northumbria Police were both were present at the scene.

Hylton Road was subsequently closed in both directions from Rutland Street to Sorley Street.
The fire service confirmed it initially sent five fire engines and an aerial level platform to tackle the blaze.
Now a spokesperson for the brigade has stated that the fire started as a result of an electrical fault and remains under investigation.
A Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "We can confirm that an electrical fault caused the fire on Hylton Road in Sunderland on Friday (25th Feb).
"The incident is currently still under investigation."
Northumbria Police also confirmed that they were at the scene helping with traffic management. The road has since reopened.
