LUCKNOW: A woman and her husband were thrashed allegedly for playing ‘Good Samaritan’ in Sarojini Nagar by a PAC constable and his relative.
In her complaint, the victim said an unclaimed motorcycle was found parked outside her house in the night on May 9. Her husband inquired about the same and found the bike belonged to their neighbour Nivedita.
“I went to her house to ask her to put the bike inside her house for safety purposes,” the victim said.
She said Nivedita did not open the gate and so I got the bike placed in a safe place. However, when Nivedita returned along with her relative Kuldeep, who is employed with PAC, Kuldeep started abusing us while accusing us of having stolen the bike,” she said.
“Kuldeep caught me by my hair and pushed me down. He also thrashed my husband,” she said.
