CARDIFF-based fintech venture Sonovate is on track to provide more than £1.25bn of finance and technology services to firms engaging contractors and freelancers this year, as it builds on record activity in 2021.
The firm, which also has an office in London, in December alone funded £90m to both existing and new customers.
This contributed to a record quarter for the company, with £240m in funding deployed. This took Sonovate’s total funding for 2021 to £700m, a 58% increase on 2020.
