Final Fantasy 7 Revelation's endgame fights may involve some minigames, but its director is more interested in using your levelled-up characters to "overcome difficult situations"

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation.

As exciting as the fight with Sephiroth will be in Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, it's the Weapon battles that I'm most looking forward to. They're going to be glorious spectacles, and according to Naoki Hamaguchi, overseer of the remake trilogy, a true challenge of your skills – with the occasional curveball for good measure.

"Obviously, what we're making is an RPG," Hamaguchi tells GamesRadar+ in a new interview. "One of the things that's fun about RPGs is having the characters you've leveled, you've customized, and you've brought them up where they are, and using them to overcome difficult situations."
