Final Fantasy 7 Remake series producer Naoki Hamaguchi says you'll have to wait and see if Final Fantasy 7 Revelation ends up linking to Advent Children.
Speaking to RPGSite, Hamaguchi is asked about comments from Final Fantasy 7 Remake co-director Tetsuya Nomura and original Final Fantasy 7 director Yoshinori Kitase. In 2023, Nomura told The Guardian "If you play right through to the end, it will link up [to Advent Children] so you don’t need to worry about that," while Kitase told GamesRadar+, "We are finally going to link up with Advent Children, that is going to be part of canon".
