Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 set to appear at Summer Game Fest, according to leaker behind Star Fox and Nintendo Switch 2 tip-offs

FF7.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 is set to get its long-awaited reveal at tomorrow's Summer Game Fest Show, according to a prominent industry leaker, so we can finally stop calling it Final Fantasy Remake Part 3. Hopefully.

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake series' third and seemingly final game hasn't been formally unveiled yet, but that could all change tomorrow night based on comments from insider NateTheHate - who accurately leaked the new Star Fox game and the exact random day that the Nintendo Switch 2's reveal would fall on, as well as an Ocarina of Time remake that's yet to pass.

Over on Reddit, when asked about the possibility of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 rearing its head tomorrow, the insider says he expects the game to appear at Summer Game Fest. Pressed on whether that was a prediction or a hunch, he simply said, "I've heard it is at SGF."

Of course, all rumors should be taken with a Hi-Potion full of salt until we finally see Cloud, his girlfriend Tifa, and maybe even Tifa's girlfriend Aerith show up somewhere. I should add that the timing would make sense now since Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth came to Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S yesterday, meaning everyone's had a chance to catch up on the trilogy.

Trilogy director Naoki Hamaguchi also recently said he had completed the game "over 40 times," which certainly paints a hopeful picture for its progress (and a distressing one for the man's thumbs because, boy, those games are long.)
